Angélica is an NYC based Design Strategist and Project Lead with a passion for cultural fluency and relevance in design. She was born in Trujillo, Peru; completed her secondary education in Maputo with a bilingual IB Diploma, and moved to New York to pursue a BBA at Parsons the New School for Design with a minor in Global Studies. 

Although she discovered her passion for creative problem solving and fine arts in high school, at Parsons she fell in love with interdisciplinary collaboration and strategic, informed interventions. She has 5 years of professional experience within the branding and innovation world, having led accounts with many internationally recognized brands, as well as start-ups. She has been with Combo since 2021, working with the team to bring ideas, brands and campaigns to life!

In her free time she enjoys cuddling her cat Maca, surrounding herself with creative people, chasing warm weather, eating good food, and biking around New York.
